About Us

Red Robin Crafts started out as a hobby (and still is!). For as long as I can remember my family have had stalls at craft fairs and markets around the country. Over the years we have sold everything from Christmas decorations and knitted goods to jewellery. All made at home and with love.

What prompted us to open an online store was the sheer volume of requests from people at markets. People wanted to buy at a time that suited them, not just on the odd market day; and Red Robin Crafts was born.

Why Red Robin?

Very simple. The Robin is a bit of a homebird, like us. They love to be out in the garden, as we do. They aren’t shy, they will look on quizzically rather than flee like many birds. Whenever any of us go for a walk by the sea or through the forest or park, nine times out of ten, a little Robin will be somewhere close by. The photo at the bottom of this page was taken when we were out walking on a beach in the spring of 2018. 

The Robin reminds us of home. And home means a lot to us :)
